Some users on the forums have reported a problem with mouse cursors in Windows. A damaged slider turns into a snake or a nightclub and does not look like a slider at all (a tricky slider, as shown in the picture below).
Mouse cursors tend https://cursorshare.com target corrupt users using shared monitors with AMD graphics cards, laptops or desktops. This issue mostly occurs when using a single monitor system.
However, if you find a broken mouse on the second monitor cursor, you can also use this guide to fix it.
These are just a few solutions that can fix a corrupted mouse pointer in Windows 10.
How To Fix A Broken Mouse Cursor In Windows 10?
How do I restore my cursor back to normal?
Therefore, you can try the following combinations to make your disappearing cursor visible to Windows 10 again: Fn + F3/ Fn + F5/ Fn + F9/ Fn + F11. If using Fn kys to get the missing cursor works to get the mouse cursor back, there might be issues with the mouse driver in Windows 10.

- Click to open the window below.
- Select the Pointer Options tab.
- Then click Show Pointer Trails.
- To remove the snapping effect using the slider, drag the Show Hints bar all the way to the left.

Some users have dealt with broken cursors by disabling the splash screen entirely. This resolution may not be for everyone, but it’s worth a try. You can also disable the screensaver in Windows 10 as follows.
4. Disable Additional VDU
Professional advice. Some PC issues are hard to fix, especially when it comes to malicious repositories or missing Windows files. If you’re having trouble fixing this error, your system may be partially faulty. We recommend installing Restoro, each of these tools will scan your computer and almost certainly find an error.

Why do I have a small square that follows around my cursor on the computer?
Good thing you turned on the magnifying glass. Open Control Panel/Ease of Access Center. Click Make your PC or laptop more visible. Scroll down and uncheck “Enable Magnifier”.
Mouse pointers are usually corrupted in a dual monitor setup. So if you double checked the configuration, disabling that second VDU (Visual Display) will most likely fix the corrupted cursor.
You can also rotate from a second screen using existing settings in Windows or the project sidebar.
5. Move The Slider Between Two Screens
Some users have also confirmed that moving the cursor almost instantly between two view screens usually causes the cursor to freeze.
So it’s easy to move the cursor back and forth between two viewports in your dual-screen organization to see if it has any particular effect. Moving the mouse pointer directly to the edge of the taskbar also fixes the problem.
6. Select “Duplicate” In The Project Sidebar
.
This is another solution that some users have reported being pointed to by a corrupted cursor.
This is usually where the view mode preference option is selected The “Duplicate” checkbox. Then select Maximize again to return to the expanded view.
7. Disable Windows Aero
Disabling the Aero effect in Windows 7 is probably another possible fix for a corrupted cursor. You can turn off Aero transparency in Windows 7 by simply right-clicking on the desktop and selecting “Personalize”.
Next, click Window Color and uncheck Normally Enable Transparency. Also select the new Windows 7 theme under the Basic and High Contrast Themes category.
These are some of the proven solutions for fixing broken cursors. Apart from the solutions, reinstalling the laptop or computer mouse driver or updating the ATI graphics card driver can also fix a corrupted mouse pointer.
If you broke another cursor fix, feel free to share it below.
